FTP File Uploads

Uploading a file to FGH Tables involves the following steps:
  • Prepare your file
  • Select your file
  • Upload your file
  • Confirmation file Uploaded
  • Send us an Email

Prepare your file - If uploading a MYOB company file, you should first compress or archive the file to reduce it's size. If you don't have archiving software installed (such as WinRar or WinZip) you can simply make a backup using MYOB (without error checking), this will create a .zip file. Ensure there are no spaces or unusual characters in the filename.

For extra security, when using WinRar or Winzip to compress the file, use the inbuilt password protection.

Only files with the following extensions are allowed: .bin .dat .myo .myox .pls .prm .rar .res .rsrc .tax .txt .zip

Select your file - Your browser will display a 'Choose File' or a 'Browse' button at the bottom of this page. Click that button, navigate to where your file is located, select it and then click Open. After this the name of the selected file will be displayed on screen in a grid. Add more files if necessary.

Upload your file - Tick the 'I am a human' box and then click the 'Upload' button. This will commence the upload process and the 'Upload' button will change to 'Stop Upload'. How long the upload takes will depend on the file size and your internet upload speed. The webpage is designed to display a progress bar, however depending on file size and Browser used, your browser may not be able to display this progress bar. This will not affect the upload.

Some Browsers such as Chrome will display the upload progress in the lower left status bar. See image below:

Most browsers however give no indication a file is being uploaded. Do not close this webpage until it changes - see below.

If you want to see the upload progress, we recommend you use Chrome as the Browser. Otherwise upload your file to DropBox, Hightail, TransferNow etc (these services are free and have a visible upload bar) and send us a link.

Confirmation file Uploaded - When the upload is complete, this webpage will change. This is what the this webpage will change to once the upload is complete:

Send us an email - After uploading the file, send us an email or use the Contact Us link to advise name of file uploaded, any Administrator password and/or password used with compression, your contact details, as well as why you are uploading the file. Use this email address:

Note: - prior to uploading a company file for password reset, please contact FGH Tables.

ps. With very large files, the upload status in bottom left hand corner of your browser may stop at 99% even though the file has uploaded. Do not re-upload, phone or email us and we will advise if file has been fully uploaded.
